Warning: E-Mail hoax

If you get a message with the subject of "E-mail technical support message" from the sweetliberty.org team, delete it! Do NOT open any attachments as they are more than likely a trojan virus.

The message was originated on the 13th of March and reads:

Hello user of Sweetliberty.org e-mail server,

Some of our clients complained about the spam (negative e-mail content)
outgoing from your e-mail account. Probably, you have been infected by
a proxy-relay trojan server. In order to keep your computer safe,
follow the instructions.

Advanced details can be found in attached file.

Have a good day,
The Sweetliberty.org team http://www.sweetliberty.org

The message then presents a file attachment upon which you can click to purportedly get instructions on how to get rid of a virus that you might have. You won't be infected unless you click on the attachment.

WARNING - IF YOU RECEIVE SUCH AN E-MAIL MESSAGE, IT DID NOT COME FROM US. DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT IN THE MESSAGE. YOUR COMPUTER WILL LIKELY BE INFECTED WITH A TROJAN HORSE VIRUS IF YOU DO. DELETE THE E-MAIL MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT OPENING THE ATTACHMENT!

The message is signed the SweetLiberty.org "team". There is no technical "team" for Sweet Liberty. I am it. And this e-mail did not come from me, so I strongly urge anyone receiving it to delete it immediately WITHOUT opening the attachment.

You should also be mindful that anyone can type in any e-mail address to make it appear that mail has actually come from our addresses. Therefore, if you are not expecting a file attachment from either Jackie Patru or myself, then play it safe and don't open it. If you have any question about whether a message or file attachment actually came from one of us, e-mail us and ask BEFORE you open the file.

Signed,
