We have received word that a special legislative session is currently underway for Terri Schiavo. SweetLiberty.org will post information as it comes in.

Meanwhile, Fox News Channel continues to lie to its viewers. In the "news ticker" crawl that runs at the bottom of the screen, just about 30 minutes ago, Fox News stated that Terri Schiavo has been in a coma for the last 13 years, and her husband says that she told him that she wouldn't want to live that way.

All of us at Sweet Liberty wish to thank everyone for their phone calls, faxes and e-mails.

First we were told Jeb called a special session for 'Terri's Bill'. Then we discover that the special session was scheduled to talk the legislature into some 'new deal'. Your calls, faxes and e-mails to the legislators and to Governor Bush have moved them off their dead butts!  Send your love and light and energy to Terri so she can hold on a bit longer. Maybe we're having a miracle. God bless you all.

Statement By: GOVERNOR JEB BUSH

Regarding Expansion of Call of Special Session

TALLAHASSEE- "Today I extended the call of this special session to include legislation that may help in the case of Terri Schiavo. The proposed bill would allow for a stay in cases of withholding nutrition and hydration from patients in situations similar to that of Ms. Schiavo. President King, Speaker Byrd, and others in the Legislature recognize the unique and tragic circumstances of Ms. Schiavo's case, and I am hopeful the Legislature will pass a bill immediately."
