My Perspective
  by Jackie Patru

The killing is so evil I am ashamed that I live in this country where we go about our business as though there's no big deal in blowing up innocent people in other parts of the world.  Like it isn't happening.  It isn't happening HERE, that is. . . . . . . . YET.
"Well... our government leaders told us to 'resume our shopping', didn't they?  We're doing our part for the economy.  They want us to be able to live a normal life while Big Brother makes the world safe for Democracy."
Never mind how many innocents die and that our young people are sucked into a killing game from which their souls will be blackened, maybe forever (because they're  making choices too).  It means nothing to them.... dropping bombs and blowing little children and their moms and dads into many pieces.  They learned it well with their computer / video / arcade / playstation games.  "it's just a game, after all".
On the first Sunday after 911, CNN told us -- while church music played in the background -- that "Americans attend many different kinds of churches and they worship in many different ways."
"Here's another way that Americans worship on Sundays... (camera pans an empty stadium).   "... and these are a different kind of pew." (cameral pans the empty bleachers) "But today, the pews are empty... ".  (Church music volume increases.... announcer-pause for effect)  No sweat, the stadiums and arenas are filled to capacity again.  One week of mourning the dead and back to the 'normal life'.
I wonder how many watching that CNN Sunday worship production realized the absolute contempt in which the orchestrators of 911 - the global elite -  hold the American sheople? The pity is... they got it right.  They should know because they wield total control over the thoughts, emotions and reactions of tens of millions of Americans who don't even realize how degraded and dehumanized they have become... or maybe de-Spiritualized is a better word.
This could never happen if "Americans" didn't join the military; and if we who stay home weren't so apathetic about it all.  All in the name of PEACE? and in the name of what we call GOD?  NO! NOT!  - J -

NATO talking heads: "We have nothing against the Serbian people"
NIS, Yugoslavia (Reuters) - A woman lies dead beside a bag of carrots Friday after a NATO daylight air raid near a market over the town of Nis south of Belgrade. Two residential areas and a hospital were hit by what appears to be cluster bombs killing 15 people, injuring scores with shrapnel and destroying some 30 homes.  Photo by Desmond Boylan
(This woman could have been my own grandmother.  Do you think people overseas love their family any LESS than we do?)
